Phase IV is a 1974 science fiction horror film directed by Harold P. Wood Jr. and starring George C. Scott, John Carradine, and David Carradine. The film is about a group of scientists who discover that a mysterious substance has been found in a remote desert area, which they believe to be a new form of life. The substance begins to grow and spread, causing the scientists to realize that they are dealing with an alien organism that is evolving rapidly and poses a threat to humanity.
