This article explores the performance analysis of an outdoor Li-Fi system based on all-optical OFDM under various atmospheric turbulence levels and weather conditions such as fog, haze, rain, and snow. The study examines the influence of atmospheric attenuation on different laser beam wavelengths to determine the best one for the Li-Fi system's transmitted laser source. The proposed outdoor Li-Fi system based on all-optical OFDM was able to transmit 640 Gbps generated from eight orthogonal channels under FSO modelled channel situations, demonstrating good performance in terms of BER and strong received signal. The FSO channel modelling was evaluated using VPI photonics design package and MATLAB.
