  5. Open-source project showcasing a speech-to-text application on a low-cost CH32V003 microcontroller. The application reads audio from an analog microphone, identifies spoken digits 'zero' to 'nine', and logs the results over a serial link.
  6. Watchy is an open source E-Ink Smartwatch with an MIT license. Development resources and documentation can be found on the official website watchy.sqfmi.com. There are also several retailers selling the watch hardware. See the documentation for instructions on how to get started with developing for Watchy.
  7. The Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32C6 is a cost-effective MCU based on Espressif’s ESP32-C6. This compact MCU excels in Matter-compliant smart home applications with its support for various wireless connectivity (2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6, BLE 5.0, Zigbee, and Thread).
  8. This project guides you through building a real working Star Trek Communicator using FONA Feather and 3D printing.
    • The prop can make real cell phone calls using the FONA Feather!
    • The device features a vibration motor, speaker, and microphone mounted inside the case.
    • You can customize the buttons to call any number you want.
    • The 2500mAh battery is rechargeable over USB and will provide several hours of energy.

  10. Kresmo is an Arduino sketch that uses an OpenAI-compatible API to generate a random and brief pithy saying. The sketch uses the U8g2 library for displaying text on an OLED screen, and the WiFi library for connecting to the internet. The ESP32-C3-0.42 module combines all this hardware into one tiny board.
