  1. This project guides you through building a real working Star Trek Communicator using FONA Feather and 3D printing.

    • The prop can make real cell phone calls using the FONA Feather!

    • The device features a vibration motor, speaker, and microphone mounted inside the case.

    • You can customize the buttons to call any number you want.

    • The 2500mAh battery is rechargeable over USB and will provide several hours of energy.

  3. If your board is never used with ch55xduino before, you need to make the ch55x chip enter bootloader mode. You need to disconnect USB and unpower ch55x, connect the pull-up resistor on D+ line (generally a 10K resistor between D+ and 5V, controlled by a push-button or adjacent pads). Then you connect USB. and hit Upload. Also, a blank new chip will enter the bootloader automatically.

  4. Kresmo is an Arduino sketch that uses an OpenAI-compatible API to generate a random and brief pithy saying. The sketch uses the U8g2 library for displaying text on an OLED screen, and the WiFi library for connecting to the internet. The ESP32-C3-0.42 module combines all this hardware into one tiny board.
